2015 Sep 29

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's Bowling teams opened their 2015-16 season this past weekend as they traveled to Campbellsville, KY for the 2015 Green River Classic. At this competition, the teams would compete by bowling 5 team rounds and 12 Baker games. With the Mid-South Conference (MSC) expanding this year, most of the teams that competed were members of the conference. The men's team would finish 4th of 13 competing teams while the women's team placed 5th of 12 teams.

The Patriot men finished day one's team rounds with a total score of 4,522 to sit in 5th place overall. After 12 Baker games, UC would move up the standings with a Baker games total of 2,254 to end the tournament with a final score of 6,776. They would earn 4th place over Bethel University, who tied UC in total score, due to the higher score by the Patriots in the team rounds.
