UC Women's Golf Wins Bill Sergent Invitational

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Golf team opened their season at home on September 10th-11th as they hosted the Bill Sergent Invitational. The Patriot ladies linked together two very solid, back-to-back rounds to come away with an 18 shot win over 5 other teams including runner-up Cumberland University for their 1st team victory of the season.

Patriot Soccer Suffers Defeat at Campbellsville

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Soccer team went on the road Tuesday, September 8th as they took on the Tigers of Campbellsville University. Although the Patriots would have a strong start to the contest, it was the Tigers who would prevail, especially in the 2nd half, as they knocked off UC 6-1. With the loss, UC moves to 4-2 overall and 0-1 in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play.

Women's Soccer Pats Fall Short in MSC Matchup

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Soccer team traveled Tuesday, September 8th to Campbellsville, Kentucky to take on the Tigers of Campbellsville University (CU). The Patriots fought an uphill battle throughout much of the game as they would return home with the 4-0 loss to the Tigers. With the loss, UC would move to 2-1-1 overall and 0-1 in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play.

Patriot Volleyball Rallies for Another Comeback Victory vs. St. Catharine

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Volleyball Patriots traveled to St. Catharine College (SCC) on Tuesday, September 8th to face one of the higher ranked preseason teams in the Mid-South Conference (MSC). Both teams came into the match looking for a huge MSC win as UC was looking to get back on track after a disappointing loss to Cumberland University on Saturday.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football program is looking forward to getting back on the field next week as they prepare for the 2015 regular season. Many Patriots return from last season as those men look to improve on the 3-7 record from just one year ago. One of those Patriots who had a standout season last year returns for his senior campaign and is being recognized at a high level being named to an elite list.

Schlatter Earns Mid-South Conference Volleyball Player of the Week

Junior Morgan Schlatter (Springboro, Ohio) was named MSC Volleyball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday. This is Schlatter's first honor of the season and first of her career. It is the first MSC weekly award for UC in volleyball since 2012. Schlatter totaled 59 kills during the week for a 3.5 kills per set average while leading the Patriot ladies to a 3-1 record last week.

Hoop Wins 4th MSC Runner of the Week Award of Season

UC senior Danielle Hoop (Owenton, Ky.) was named this week's Mid-South Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. This is the 4th award this season for Hoop and the seventh of her career.

Ingleton Earns 2nd MSC Special Teams Player of the Week Award

Freshman Blake Ingleton (Canton, Ga.) won the MSC Special Teams Player of the Week award this week, conference officials announced on Monday. Ingleton returned a kickoff 97 yards for touchdowns in the Patriots' 42-13 loss to NAIA #9 ranked Georgetown College (Ky.) on Saturday. This is the 2nd straight game that Ingleton has returned a kickoff for a touchdown.

UC'S Whyte Earns MSC Weekly Honors

UC senior Donnie Whyte (Miamisburg, Ohio) is the Mid-South Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. This is the first honor of the season for Whyte as well as the 1st for the Patriot men this year.
