Men's Soccer Earns Fourth Seed in Mid-South Tournament
In his first year at the helm, head coach Chris LeFevre has guided the University of the Cumberlands men's soccer team to a 5-10-3 overall record, including a 3-3-1 mark in conference play and the fourth seed in the Mid-South Conference tournament. The Patriots will face fifth-seed Shawnee State on Friday, November 4, at 8:30 p.m. with the games being played at Warren East High School in Bowling Green, KY.

The University of the Cumberlands men's basketball team got off to a fast start and had Marquis Yates (SR/Manassas, VA) hit a game-tying three at the buzzer to force overtime but it wasn't enough as the Patriots fell 79-76 to Indiana University Southeast Tuesday night at the O. Rollins Center. With the win the Grenadiers move to 1-1, while the Patriots fall to 2-1.

Volleyball Falls to LWC 3-0
UC Volleyball returned to Mid-South Conference play on Tuesday night as they traveled to Columbia to take on fourth-ranked Lindsey Wilson College (LWC). The Patriots were hoping to defeat Blue Raiders, but LWC would shut the Patriots out 3-0 by scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-17. The win takes Lindsey Wilson to 27-1 overall and 12-1 in MSC play as the loss moves UC to 20-8 on the season and 8-5 in conference play.

UC Women's Golf continued their dynamic play on Tuesday in the St. Andrews Fall Invitational in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Firing the low round of the day as a team again, the Patriot ladies would be victorious for the fifth time during the fall, coming away with the 33-stroke win. This win gives the Patriots the sweep of the fall, winning all five tournaments they took part in.
