Five students at University of the Cumberlands were recently inducted into Kappa Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society.

Ms. Kendall Arnold was recently inducted into University of the Cumberlands' chapter of the national physics honor society Sigma Pi Sigma.

University of the Cumberlands offers undergraduate students who have excelled academically an opportunity to complete significant research in their major field of study. This advanced independent study or creative activity is conducted over two semesters and mentored by a faculty member. The resulting thesis and oral presentation are reviewed and approved by both the academic department and the Presidential Scholars Research Committee.

A team of four doctoral students at University of the Cumberlands have won the 2nd place Student Ethics Award from the American Counseling Association (ACA).

The University of the Cumberlands athletic department set a new school record as 134 student-athletes were named 2019-2020 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, announced by the NAIA national office.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and be in good academic standing.
