The 2021 recipient of the A.T. Siler Memorial Service Award from University of the Cumberlands is Katelynn Johnson. This award is presented to a female student in their junior year of study who is expected to make an outstanding contribution to their community in the future.

Berger Awards honor a male and female student from the senior class who demonstrate outstanding leadership and service to the university and to the larger community as a whole. Recipients must also demonstrate sound academic achievements.

Michael Garnon was recently awarded the T.E. Mahan Service Award from University of the Cumberlands (UC).

Rachel Bertram was recently awarded the A.T. Siler Service Award from University of the Cumberlands (UC).

Although students had Monday, Jan. 16, off from classes at University of the Cumberlands (UC), many found ways to spend their day giving back to the community in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

On Dec. 2, minutes before midnight, 108 student-volunteers from University of the Cumberlands gathered at the front of the Williamsburg Walmart store to shop for Christmas presents for local children.

In the days leading up to winter break at University of the Cumberlands, student-volunteers came together with Mountain Outreach, a service organization at the university, to teach children the value of giving.

University of the Cumberlands (UC) honored several alumni during Homecoming 2016 at the annual Alumni Luncheon, held Saturday, Oct. 8.

On Saturday, August 27, the men's and women's archery teams at UC collaborated with Mountain Outreach on a construction project in the community.

On August 22, 2016, days before classes resumed at University of the Cumberlands, a group of freshmen came together to build a ramp for a woman living just outside Williamsburg with support from Dr. Christopher Leskiw and Mountain Outreach.
