The University of the Cumberlands volleyball team returned to Mid-South Conference action on Tuesday night as they were defeated by Campbellsville (CU) 3-0. With the win, Tigers improve to 21-8 overall and 8-3 in conference play, while the Patriots fall to 19-7 overall and 8-4 against the Mid-South Conference.

UC Women's Golf continued their dynamic play on Tuesday in the St. Andrews Fall Invitational in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Firing the low round of the day as a team again, the Patriot ladies would be victorious for the fifth time during the fall, coming away with the 33-stroke win. This win gives the Patriots the sweep of the fall, winning all five tournaments they took part in.

The University of the Cumberlands men's soccer team scored in 84th minute but it wasn't enough as Martin Methodist scored in the second overtime to defeat the Patriots 2-1 Tuesday afternoon at the Patriots Soccer Complex. With the win the RedHawks improve to 5-8-3, while the Patriots fall to 5-9-3.

The University of the Cumberlands men's golf team had a six shot improvement in the second round to move them up two spots and finish tied for fourth place at the St. Andrews Fall Invitational, Tuesday afternoon at the Scotch Meadows Golf Course. The Patriots carded a two-round total of 610.

The University of the Cumberlands women's golf team have continue their winning ways leading by 17 strokes after the first round of the St. Andrews Fall Invite, Monday afternoon at Scotch Meadows Country Club. The Patriots shot a team score of 311 in the first round.

After earning his first collegiate win this weekend at the Sand Shark Invitational, Samuel Beal (SR/Beavercreek, OH) was named the Mid-South Conference Runner of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday. This is the fifth time this season that Beal has received this honor.

As the Patriots finish up their season one player stood out for his performances this past week as Ahmed Ghatwary (SO/Cairo, Egypt) was named the Mid-South Conference defensive player of the week, announced by the conference office Monday.

After tallying six points in the Patriots 8-0 win over Life, Jody LeMaster (SO/Stuart, FL) was named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday. This is the first time this season that LeMaster's garnered this recognition.

Ahmed Ghatwary (SO/Cairo, Egypt) made a career-high 13 saves to lead the University of the Cumberlands men's soccer team to a 0-0 draw with (RV) Georgia Gwinnett, Saturday night at the Grizzly Soccer Complex. With the draw the Patriots move to 5-8-3 overall while the Grizzles are 8-3-3.

UC Football took to the road on Saturday as they faced the Bears of the University of Pikeville (UPike) in Mid-South Conference East Division play. It was a tale of two halves as UC carried a 7-3 lead into halftime, but 28 unanswered points from the Bears would propel them to a 31-7 win over the Patriots, dropping UC to 3-5 on the season (2-2 MSC East).

The University of the Cumberlands women's soccer team couldn't overcome an early three goal deficit as they fell to Tennessee Wesleyan 4-1 Saturday afternoon. With the win the Bulldogs improve to 10-4-1 overall while the Patriots fall to 9-8.

The University of the Cumberlands men's golf team completed Tuesday's final round at the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate at the Tennessee National Golf Course with a fifth place finish while one individual placed in the top five. The Patriots put together a strong second round which brought the Patriots two-round combined stroke total to 607.

UC Women's Soccer looked for back-to-back Mid-South Conference wins on Tuesday as they traveled to take on the Running Eagles of Life University. The Patriots would find the back of the net early and often on their way to an 8-0 shutout victory, moving their overall record to 9-7 overall and 3-3 in MSC play.

After winning all four of her races last week Casandra Bock (FR/Brandenburg, KY) was named Collegeswimming.com Swimmer of the Week for the NAIA Division.

UC Women's Golf entered Tuesday's final round at the Thomas University Invitational looking up at two tough competitors in Thomas University and Campbellsville University. The Patriots began the round just two shots out of first, but put together a solid round on a tough course to propel them up the leaderboard to win the Thomas University Invitational by one shot. It is the fourth straight victory for the Patriots this fall.

UC Women's Golf opened play on Monday in the Thomas University Fall Invitational. On a tough day of play, UC would finish the day in third place overall of nine competing teams entering play on Tuesday.

UC Volleyball continued their winning ways this past week earning two big victories over tough competition to move their overall record to 18-6 on the season and 7-3 in Mid-South Conference play. During the Patriots' wins, one Patriot would continue her stellar play and for her efforts was honored with another weekly award.

University of the Cumberlands tennis player Isabella Dale (SR/Invercargill, New Zealand) finished fourth at the ITA Oracle Cup after falling to second-seed Chiara Di Salvo 6-1, 6-4 in the third place match Saturday morning at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Wrestling team have officially begun their 2015-2016 season as they travelled to Franklin Spring, GA to compete in the Emmanuel College Tournament. The Patriot ladies wrestled extremely well and were able to have twelve wrestlers place within the top six of their weight class in the tournament.

The Patriot football team hosted the Knights of Kentucky Christian University on Saturday and did not disappoint in front of the home crowd. Scoring in all facets of the game, UC dominated the line of scrimmage all night as they defeated the Knights 52-7 to move to 3-4 on the season (2-1 MSC East).
