Patriot Runners Compete Well at Centre College invitational
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Cross Country teams traveled to Centre College in Danville, Kentucky this weekend to compete in their opening race of the season. This would be a special moment for the Patriots as it would be the first meet under new Head Coach Randy Greer.

Patriot Volleyball Dominates Tri-Match
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriot Volleyball team went to Union College for a tri-match on Saturday to face off against the Columbia College (CC) Koalas and the Union College Bulldogs (UCB). After coming off a week with two huge Mid-South Conference (MSC) wins, the Patriots were looking to come out on top with a win over the Koalas as well as the Bulldogs.

Patriots Swing Past Field in Bill Sergent Invitational
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Golf team began their 2015-2016 season with an outstanding victory in the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Course. At the end of the two-day event, the Patriots held a total score of 570 (-6), finishing 11 strokes ahead of second place Cumberland University.

UC Women's Golf Wins Bill Sergent Invitational
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Golf team opened their season at home on September 10th-11th as they hosted the Bill Sergent Invitational. The Patriot ladies linked together two very solid, back-to-back rounds to come away with an 18 shot win over 5 other teams including runner-up Cumberland University for their 1st team victory of the season.

Patriot Soccer Suffers Defeat at Campbellsville
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Soccer team went on the road Tuesday, September 8th as they took on the Tigers of Campbellsville University. Although the Patriots would have a strong start to the contest, it was the Tigers who would prevail, especially in the 2nd half, as they knocked off UC 6-1. With the loss, UC moves to 4-2 overall and 0-1 in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play.

Women's Soccer Pats Fall Short in MSC Matchup
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Soccer team traveled Tuesday, September 8th to Campbellsville, Kentucky to take on the Tigers of Campbellsville University (CU). The Patriots fought an uphill battle throughout much of the game as they would return home with the 4-0 loss to the Tigers. With the loss, UC would move to 2-1-1 overall and 0-1 in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Volleyball Patriots traveled to St. Catharine College (SCC) on Tuesday, September 8th to face one of the higher ranked preseason teams in the Mid-South Conference (MSC). Both teams came into the match looking for a huge MSC win as UC was looking to get back on track after a disappointing loss to Cumberland University on Saturday.

During UC's annual commencement ceremony on May 9th, 815 degrees were conferred. Two- hundred and thirty students earned an undergraduate degree and 585 students earned a graduate degree.

Davis Awarded NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Softball season came to a close at the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Tournament. Although UC wasn't able to make a postseason run towards a NAIA National Championship, numerous Patriots continued to receive honors. On Wednesday, one UC graduate received yet another achievement as this one comes as the highest academic award given by the NAIA.

Williams Named 3-Time NAIA All-American in Outdoor Track and Field
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Track and Field team had select members compete last week at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. With five members of the team competing, UC was hopeful for numerous top finishes. One Patriot did exceptionally well at the meet, garnering several awards for his efforts.

University of the Cumberlands (UC) is pleased to announce that 93 students have been named Christian Leadership Scholar honorees for the 2015-2016 school year. The amount of scholarships awarded totals approximately $208,000 in scholarships in their first year or $832,000 over four years. The amount of the scholarship varies for each student based on the extent of active leadership involvement.

Patriot Tennis Earns Five NAIA Scholar Athlete Awards
University of the Cumberlands Tennis programs have completed their seasons for the 2014-15 school year. The men would go 6-11 on the season, making a run to the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Tournament Semifinals. The Patriot ladies would go 7-11 overall on the year before being upset in the MSC Tournament Quarterfinals. The NAIA announced its highest academic honors today.
