Erin Channing Baker of Williamsburg, Kentucky, is the 2022 winner of the A.T. Siler Memorial Service Award from University of the Cumberlands.

Katelyn Johnson is the 2022 winner of the Gorman Jones Campus Leadership Award from University of the Cumberlands.

Tristan Gibbs is the winner of the 2022 Mary Mildred Sullivan Award from University of the Cumberlands.

Joshua Hash is the winner of the 2022 Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award from University of the Cumberlands.

Emily Lamb is the 2022 winner of the Dr. Tessa Nelson Humphries Freshman Writing Award from University of the Cumberlands.

Erica Dick of Corbin, Kentucky, is the 2022 winner of the Virginia Lovett Award for Superior English Students from University of the Cumberlands.

Abby Elam of Georgetown, Kentucky, is the 2022 winner of the Bella Bender-Lipps Art Award from University of the Cumberlands.

Kenzie Lacefield of Corbin, Kentucky, was the 2022 winner for the Mavis F. Broome Scholarship.

University of the Cumberlands held commencement ceremonies recently to celebrate its newest graduates. Participants in this year's commencement ceremonies included graduates from 49 states and territories and the countries of Canada, India, Brazil, Spain, New Zealand, and Italy, among others. A total of 2,068 graduates received their degrees from Cumberlands that weekend.

Students at University of the Cumberlands were recently inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma honor society.

The 2022 Outstanding Senior in Spanish award was recently given to Madison Cecil.
