Sofia Mena Molina (Williamsburg, Kentucky) received the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) Outstanding Senior French award and other honors at University of the Cumberlands' (UC) 56th annual Honors Day program.

Robert Anthony McCormick (Louisville, Kentucky) received the Exercise Sport Science from the Health, Exercise and Sport Science (HESS) Department of University of the Cumberlands (UC) during the 56th annual Honors Day program.

Deborah Wilkerson (Berea, Kentucky) earned multiple awards at the University of the Cumberlands' (UC) 56th annual Honors Day program. She was recognized for her accomplishments and dedication to the Education, Mathematics and Spanish fields.

Troy Allen Stickler (Rockwood, Tennessee) received the Fitness and Sport Management Award from the Health, Exercise and Sport Science (HESS) Department of University of the Cumberlands (UC) during the 56th annual Honors Day program.

Jacob Ratliff (Amelia, Ohio) was presented with the 2015 Honored Graduate in Missions and Ministry Award from University of the Cumberlands (UC) during the 56th annual Honors Day program.

Tedarrius Teasley (Gainesville, Georgia) received several awards and honors at University of the Cumberlands' (UC) 56th annual Honors Day program.

Marissa Danielle Hedrick (London, Kentucky) received the Outstanding Senior Music Major Award from University of the Cumberlands' (UC) Music Department during the 56th annual Honors Day.

Ethan Scott Worley (London, Kentucky) received the History Department award and other honors at University of the Cumberlands' (UC) 56th annual Honors Day.

Wesley Diane Hale (Amelia, Ohio) received the Phyllis Richardson Wood Music Scholarship Award from the University of the Cumberlands' (UC) Music Department during the 56th annual Honors Day.

Matthew Edward Kelley (Corbin, Kentucky) received the Political Science Department award and other honors at University of the Cumberlands' (UC) 56th annual Honors Day.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Track and Field programs continue to show their superior athleticism as they competed this past weekend in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championships. While numerous athletes earned top finishes, it was six Patriot ladies along with four Patriot men that were honored before the meet began for their excellence in the classroom.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Tennis teams has departed on their journey as they will participate in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championship tournament in Bowling Green, Kentucky. With the Patriots looking to make a splash in the tournament, some of those athletes already made a big impact on their team in the classroom and on the courts and for their efforts were awarded by the MSC.

While many of the players for UC did well during the season, it was three Patriot ladies that would garner honors from the MSC.

UC's Wendall Williams (Syracuse, NY) and Hunter Lewis (Dunlap, TN) are the Mid-South Conference Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. The weekly honor is the 3rd for Williams this season and 2nd straight while Lewis earns his 1st of the year.

As the Patriots continue to work hard on the field, numerous Patriots were honored on Tuesday for their hard work in the classroom by the conference.

UC's Danielle Hoop (Owenton, KY) and teammate Courtney Rhodes (Riceboro, GA) are the MSC Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. This is the 2nd weekly award for Hoop this season while Rhodes is earning her 1st.

One Patriot male along with five Patriot ladies were awarded Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference awards on Friday. Twenty-four men along with twenty-three women earned the academic honor this year in the conference. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

UC's Wendall Williams is the Mid-South Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. The weekly honor is the 3rd straight track honor for Williams and 4th straight of the season as he also won the field honor on April 7th.

UC's Dan Fraser (Cooma, Australia) and Isabella Dale (Invercargill, New Zealand) are the Mid-South Conference Men and Women's Tennis Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. The weekly conference honor is the first of the season for both Fraser and Dale.

UC's Rachel Pingleton is the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week. The weekly honor is Pingleton's third of the season, the most by a single women's golfer this season.

University of the Cumberlands named students to the Honor Roll during the 56th Annual Honors Day program on Sunday, April 26th.

University of the Cumberlands named students to the High Honor Roll during the 56th annual Honors Day program. These students have attained a minimum of 3.85 cumulative standing. Since UC only offers one undergraduate commencement ceremony, this list includes those students who finished their degree in December as well as those who will graduate in the May event.

University of the Cumberlands presented Seth Hale with the Bella Bender-Lipps art award during the fifty-sixth annual Honors Day program.

Sarah England and Madison Mitchell received the Outstanding Biology Student Department award and other honors at University of the Cumberlands' 56th annual Honors Day program.

University of the Cumberlands honored Hope Rebecca Coleman and Jason Luke Hedquist with the Kappa Delta Pi Scholarship at the 56th annual Honors Day program.

Two University of the Cumberlands students were presented with the Gorman Jones Scholarship during the 56th annual Honors Day program.

University of the Cumberlands presented Kaylyn Collette and Jon Wilson with the H.N. and Frances Berger Foundation Endowed Scholarship during the fifty-sixth Annual Honors Day.

Jonathan Tyler Smith received the 2015 T.J. Roberts Campus Leadership Award, was named to the J.T. Vallandingham Scholastic Honor, and earned High Honor at University of the Cumberlands' 56th Annual Honors Day.
